This system, created in 1954, is the product of extensive research and development by experienced teachers, physicians, psychologists, and musicians. It was first introduced to Canada in 1966. Currently, there are 16,000 locations in 40 countries around the globe, with 22,000 teachers teaching over 800,000 students. More than 4 million people have graduated from the Yamaha System.
